Driving License
Any valid driving license which is printed in Latin or Cyrillic alphabet is acceptable on territory of Georgia during one year after Car Renter’s arrival

Age Restrictions
Any driver who is at least 21 years old and has 2 year of driving experience is automatically insured with all conditions listed below

Insurance

100% insurance  is  included in rental price

100% Vehicle Insurance in case of any accident of your own fault or other party

100% Vehicle Insurance in case of any damage by fire, theft or any other damage caused by a third party 

Insurance will become void in the following cases

If necessary procedures( call the patrol police immediately at the No 122 and call GMG Georgia Headquarters) are not followed the driver will be fully liable for the damages.

Insurance will become void in the following cases:

if an unauthorized driver has used the vehicle

if the driver of the vehicle does not possess the required driver’s license at the time of the event giving rise to claim.

If the driver was found to be under the influence of drugs and alcoholic substances, at the time of the event giving rise to claim.

We do not have franchise , but if the damage of the car is caused by our client , when we call police ,(for the damage to be covered insurance needs police report) they are giving our driver fine of the amount 250 gel. 

if the damage  is lower then amount of fine the driver can cover the damage to the company  without insurance or police to be involved .

Tires damaged during driving are not considered as an accidental damage by any insurance company in Georgia. Payment for the tires are charged 50 EUR each tire

In case of losing vehicle keys 100 Euro passport – 100Euro; Wi-Fi adapter -100Euro; GPS- 100Euro; Baby Seat 200 Euro.

Any damage or loss made to driver, passengers or to any property inside the vehicle during an accident or rental period are not covered by insurance and not refundable by any party. (According to the Georgian legislation it must be covered by your travel insurance during the entry to Georgia)

The insurance does not cover the damage deliberately caused to the car’s interior (damage to the seats, upholstery, dashboard, etc.),  Any damage caused to a car or passengers when driving in conditions of severe off-road does not apply to insurance and is not covered! 

One Way Rentals 

Pick up and Drop Off is free in any location of Kutaisi City (including Kutaisi Airport) 24/7

pickup Kutaisi and drop-off in Batumi or in Tbilisi extra cost 60 euro

Responsibility Of Parties.

1.The lessor in the lessee presence is obliged to inspect the vehicle, if it is in a roadworthy condition, must check fuel level, external damages, tires, spare tires, all necessary equipment of the vehicle and etc. Damages must be identified in acceptance note by the lessor  or confirmed by photos.

2. The lessee must return the Vehicle to GMG rental office or other location the lessor identify, on the date and time specified in this Agreement, and in the same condition that the renter received it, except for ordinary wear. If the vehicle is returned to any other office or location or left somewhere other  than the office or location identified by Rental Agent, the lessee remains responsible for the safety of and any damage to the Vehicle until the lessor inspects it. Service to the Vehicle or replacement of parts or accessories during the rental must have GMG Georgia prior approval.

3.The lessee must check and maintain all fluid levels, check that the Vehicle is, lock the Vehicle at all times when renter is not operating the Vehicle, and return the Vehicle with at least the same amount of fuel as when rented, otherwise the lessor shall charge the lessee the fees for filling the Vehicle.

4. All accessories provided with the rented car are the part of this agreement and the lessee is obliged to properly secure any goods carried.

Rules Regarding Fines

If during rental period Car Renter violates any parking or traffic laws, Car Renter is obliged to compensate the amount of fine defined by Car Owner (NOTE: ask for documentation from official governmet sites for egs. https://parking.tbilisi.gov.ge, https://police.ge, etc.). In case of video fine, Car renter is obliged to follow the instructions of the Car Owner and take responsibilities on fine

All fines that have been handed personally are registered in police database on Car Renter ’s name and must be paid by Georgian law before departure from the country
